Ceat Specialty Farmax Tyres For Agco’s Massey Ferguson Tractors
Ceat Specialty is expanding its reach across Europe by supplying its Farmax tyres to AGCO’s Massey Ferguson tractors. This partnership will see Ceat Farmax tyres initially fitted on the Massey Ferguson 5700 M series, with rollout plans extending across several tractor lines. According to Ceat, this marks a significant milestone in the company’s expansion strategy within Europe.
The first tractor to benefit from this partnership is the Massey Ferguson MF 5711 M 115 HP model. Outfitted with Ceat Farmax R65 tyres in sizes 440/65 R 28 and 540/65 R 38, these tyres are designed to enhance the vehicle’s on-field and on-road performance.
With unique features such as tilted lug tips for improved comfort, mud-breaker elements for self-cleaning capabilities, and a wider tread pattern that minimises soil compaction, Ceat says the Farmax R65 tyres offer a combination of durability and roadability that is well-suited to modern agricultural demands.
Ceat’s Partnership With Massey Ferguson
Ceat’s expansion into the European agricultural tyre sector builds on its established partnership with Massey Ferguson in Brazil, which began in 2021. Ceat says it is working with Massey Ferguson’s engineering and production centre in Beauvais, France, to bring optimised tyre performance and tractor efficiency to higher horsepower models across Europe.
In addition to the Farmax R65, Ceat will also introduce its other high-performance tyre lines, including the Farmax R70, Farmax R80, and Torquemax, on Massey Ferguson tractors in the coming months. These tyres, engineered for diverse agricultural applications, cater to the unique needs of European farmers by providing reliable traction, longevity, and versatility for varied soil types and terrains.
